HOW TO CUT A CERAMIC TILE

This article explains how to cut a hole in a ceramic tile.
Mark in the tile the area that has to be removed.
Transfer the mark to the back side of the tile.
Use a hack saw to cut the tile. The blade should be a rod saw blade.
Keep the good side of the tile facing down.
Take the hack saw blade off the frame and insert it through the opening, if it already exists, in the tile.
Then remount the saw blade while it is through the tile. Check to be sure that the handle of the hack saw is towards the back side of the tile.
Then saw along your mark and cut the notch you have marked.
Remove the hack saw from the veramic tile.
